The SPCA of Anne Arundel County is not affiliated with or endorsed by any other humane organization. There is no national structure of the Ministry of Defense, we are not a department of a large organization.

We are a private, non-profit organization serving Anne Arundel County. We do not receive any money from the local, state or federal government. They rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses in our community to provide the best possible care for our homeless companion animals.
The SPCA of Anne Arundel County does not sell or trade the personal or contact information of our donors. We do not send mail on behalf of other organizations.
There are many ways to get things done. For more than 90 years, we have been working to provide humane assistance to animals in Anne Arundel County. It is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. All donations to the fund are tax-deductible. We rely on the generosity of people like you to provide shelter and humane care for many of our local homeless animals. Below are some ways to help you.

Betsy was a beloved beagle who lived at the shelter for three years. In his honor, we have established a fund to provide exceptional medical care to animals who need more than standard veterinary care. We donate new/unopened wet or dry dog and cat food. You can drop off food at the shelter during normal business hours.
It accepts donations of cars, trucks and boats in working and driving condition. By selling these cars, we raise money to feed our homeless animals. Your donation is tax deductible.
