Twenty-year coach Renee Lopez has been teaching student-athletes, parents, coaches and administrators about the college recruiting process throughout the United States and internationally. His coaching experience includes NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, high school varsity and club teams. He is also the youth club’s director of coaching, athletic director and oversees NCAA Division II compliance for 13 sports.
Following his collegiate athletic career, he earned his degree in Exercise Sport Science/Sport Management from the University of Florida while working with NCAA Elite Eight teams. From 2005 to 2009, Coach Rennie led an NCAA Division II program to 11 winning seasons from a 3-12-2 record. This success earned him Coach of the Year honors, his team won academic awards, and he was an All-American as well as an All-Conference player. He then moved on to an NCAA Division I head coaching position and had another record-breaking season.
A calling from the heart led to four years of coaching at Christian colleges, where he led his teams to state championships and produced two more All-Americans and numerous all-conference honors. He has spoken at many events for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, written articles for the National Christian College Athletic Association, and the National Alliance for Youth Sports. His work has been featured in various media outlets including ESPN Radio, Sirius XM, USA Weekly, Tackling College Sports and WECoach.
