Subsidized alternative loans offered by some local banks and private institutions. May require a co-signer based on debt Nearly 84% of graduates with student loans In 2014, the average student loan debt was $28,660 (Cohn, CNBC, 2012).
The loan can be used to help the student with tuition and fees to complete the loan application for parents. Repayment begins 60 days after the loan is disbursed. GCU has a limit of 10,000 per year. You can choose to take what you want. About 750 credit points. If you’re denied, you could increase your student loans by $4,000.

University Partnerships: Grow Your Own / Grand Canyon University
Scholarships for high school students are only for students who plan to attend classes on the main campus as a traditional undergraduate student in the fall semester immediately after high school graduation. They are available if you graduated from high school between December and June of the previous calendar year in which you intend to enroll and attend a class on the main campus as a traditional undergraduate student.
International students attending on an F-1 visa are eligible for indirect start scholarships only. Please note that all scholarships are applied to tuition first and are only available to students who have graduated as a traditional undergraduate student attending a class on the main campus.
Scholarships are available for students with other GPAs based on eligibility requirements. Please see Additional Scholarships and Grants for more information.

If a student does not meet the minimum criteria for renewal, their scholarship will be forfeited. reserves the right to change the scholarship award at any time without notice. Prices are based on the 2023-24 rate and are subject to change.
The Chancellor’s Award is the only scholarship level that requires an unweighted GPA for eligibility. Chancellor’s Awards are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
If a student is admitted based on the ACT or SAT, the student must have an unweighted high school GPA of at least 2.5.
