The money received from small fees does not begin to pay for the shelter, much less the services offered throughout the year.

The SPCA of Anne Arundel County is not affiliated with, or sponsored by, any other organization or person. There is no national structure for the SPCA and we are not part of a large organisation.

We are a private, non-profit organization serving Anne Arundel County. We do not receive funding from local, state or federal governments. We rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses in the community to ensure that homeless animals receive the best possible care.
SPCA of Anne Arundel County does not sell or trade donor’s personal information or contacts with others. We do not send letters on behalf of other organizations.
There are many ways to support the work of. For more than ninety years we have worked for the compassionate care of animals in Anne Arundel County. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Betsy is a beloved animal who has lived at the shelter for three years. In their honor, we have created a fund to provide specialized medical care for animals with needs beyond standard veterinary care. Please note “Betsy Medical Fund” in your donation if you are giving specifically to this fund. You can make a donation here.
We accept donations of fresh/unopened dog and cat food. Food can be dropped off at the shelter during regular business hours.
Donations of used or used cars, trucks, and boats are accepted. From the sale of this car, we get money to care for homeless animals. Your donation is tax deductible.
