Capella Scholarships – The University Chapel offers assistance to students who wish to raise funds to support their academic programs. Students can learn more about financial aid by calling 1.888.CHAPELLA (227.3552) or the Office of Financial Aid and Financial Affairs.
Financial aid can be used for the cost of retaking failed courses, and retaking courses for which a student has received a passing grade. Students who are deemed unable to repeat more than this course use financial aid to cover the additional cost of repeating courses. This rule does not apply to students who have completed full courses or courses.

Capella Scholarships
For GuidedPath students, repeat course credits eligible for financial aid are not included, of course, and are counted toward the financial aid process. For FlexPath students, financial aid can be used to cover the cost of repeating a failed first course. Financial aid may not be available to cover the cost of repeated courses for students who have received a passport.

State and federal laws require students to maintain academic progress during enrollment in order to remain eligible for financial aid. In compliance with federal and state laws, Chapel College has established policies for all students regarding academic advancement, financial aid counseling, financial aid testing, and financial appeals.
Financial aid recipients enrolled in the FlexPath program must meet the eligibility requirements to receive financial aid. There are two ways in which FlexPath affects the development of financial claims.
The program is evaluated in weeks 24 and 48 of the school year. If the application is not completed, payment deadlines may be extended, payments may be delayed, and financial documents may be lost.
All students who start a new program on or after October 1, 2022 have their plan changed to FlexPath Model B.

All students will begin their program with a second semester of enrollment to meet financial aid goals and may be eligible for a temporary Pelle da. To convert to full-time enrollment in financial aid, a student must first demonstrate success in a full-time program by maintaining the required grade point average of 4.5 per course.
