You can get scholarships for various reasons – GPA, residency status, achievements etc. Find out what you qualify for and apply.
You can search for scholarships through your college, school or ASU academic department. Scholarship amounts and eligibility criteria vary, and awards are often limited to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in a specific academic program.
ASU offers the New American University Transfer Scholarship for non-resident Arizona transfer students who meet high academic standards and have financial need. Students must submit an application and have a completed FAFSA by January 1 for the fall semester or October 1. For spring for priority consideration.
Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid each year to see what federal aid (grants, scholarships, loans) you are eligible for. Normally, the FAFSA is available each year on October 1; However, due to FAFSA revisions, the 2024-2025 FAFSA is expected in December 2023 (and not in October). For students starting in spring or summer 2024, FAFSA 2023-2024 is open. The earlier you apply, the more help you may receive.

Residents of Western states (other than Arizona) may enroll in the Western Undergraduate Exchange at a tuition rate of 150 percent of Arizona base tuition, plus all fees for the fall and spring semesters only. A freshman orientation experience will help you get on board and start your semester off strong. University Academic Success Program (UASP): The University Academic Success Program (UASP) offers free tuition in a blended format. All enrolled students can now connect with instructors and peers in person on any campus or online through Zoom. Students who take advantage of these services tend to perform better academically.
Transfer Success Coaching: As you begin your Sun Devil career, the Student Success Center’s Transfer Coaching program is designed for you. Your first year as a transfer student is about discovering ASU, discovering your personal strengths and potential, and discovering your success. VIP transfer training is a unique opportunity for transfer students to do just that.

As you complete the new student orientation experience, we encourage you to complete the following steps to ensure a successful start at ASU: Eligible students can save $500 to receive $4,000 in scholarship funds (8-to-1 match) totaling $4,500. Capital can be. Applies to ASU tuition and mandatory fees. Arizona Community College students are eligible to apply for this program.
In order to have the $500 savings requirement and matching funds on your student account, you must complete the following steps.

How Your Grades Can Affect Your Financial Aid
The $500 IDA deposit will be split between spring and spring semesters. $250 of the IDA deposit will be posted as an “Earning to Learn IDA deposit” for the fall semester and $250 will be posted for the spring semester. View all deposits in My ASU > Finance Tab > Account Fee Box > Payments
The $4,000 scholarship has an income to learn consisting of $2,000 from the federal government and $2,000 from ASU, divided between the spring semester and the spring semester. These scholarships will be listed as $1,000 ASU Earn to Learn and $1,000 ASU Earn to Learn (Private) on your My ASU award summary for the fall semester and again for the spring semester, totaling $4,000 for the entire academic year. Or maybe you haven’t taken the SAT or ACT yet but wonder how important the test is. One way you can increase your score is to find a guaranteed SAT scholarship or a guaranteed ACT scholarship. In this article, we will show you some scholarships for high SAT scores and scholarships for high ACT scores that you can get. Scholarships for ACT Scores and Scholarships for SAT Scores This topic focuses on scholarships offered by colleges and universities themselves. Why? Many private scholarships, even for income, have a full application form, such as college admission, including letters of recommendation and essays. Many other smaller scholarships are based on essays, personal circumstances, or your parents’ employers. While we are not preventing you from applying for these, this article will focus on scholarships that students can automatically receive from universities based solely on their test scores and GPA or grade level. Automatic Scholarships for National Awards Before we go into the list of scholarships, we will also highlight another source of funding based on test scores: National Awards. As we discussed in previous articles, the national honors competition recognizes the top PSAT (Practice SAT) scorers in each state. While there is a $2,500 scholarship you can earn through the competition itself, you can also get a larger scholarship from a college by listing it as your first choice through National Merit. You can get anything from a small scholarship to a full trip, depending on the school. As a general rule, public universities tend to give more money for national festivals, although there are exceptions. For example, you can get full scholarships at the University of Idaho and the University of Oklahoma. At Loyola University Chicago, a private college, you can earn $2,000 for being a national finalist if you name Loyola as your first choice school with the National Merit Corporation.
